On the other hand if a patient has loose hanging skin, which most women do if they’ve had children. If that is the case lipo would be the wrong procedure and could make the stomach look even worse. It would take out the fat but leave the skin even looser.

A good candidate for Tummy Tuck has loose excess skin and week bulging abdominal muscles. A tummy tuck is a big operation and it definitely has some downtime. During a tummy tuck the extra skin that is stretched out through pregnancy is removed from the lower part of the tummy. Then the skin form the upper part of the tummy is pulled down.
